Ingredients
-
Lemon Peel, 1 tbsp
Lemons,3 Large without seeds juiced
*Splenda, 6 tsp
1 full blender of Ice
Directions
In a blender combine the juice of three lemons, 6 tsp Splenda and fill with ice.
Turn blender on high or puree until all ice is chopped to a fine slush.
With a long spoon mix in the lemon peel ( make sure you turn off blender before you do this)
Can be eaten immediately or made more solid by removing from blender and placing in an air tight container in the freezer for one hour.
Recipe can be modified for those that like a more tart lemon ice....just add less splenda....for more sweet ....just add a bit more splenda.
Served in a bowl with a sprig of mint and a twist of lemon peel it is transformed into an elegant and tasty frozen desert!
You can even do this with just about ANY fresh or frozen fruit. The sky is the limit.
For a new taste try using grapefruit juice......Tart and really tasty!
Please note!!! A whole blender full of this delicious treat is only 79.6 calories!!!!
