Introduction

I make this and divide into 5 individual servings. and freeze. Yummy! and low sat fat. low cal. Filling and satisfying! I make this and divide into 5 individual servings. and freeze. Yummy! and low sat fat. low cal. Filling and satisfying!

Ingredients

    1 1/4 C. Green Split Peas
    10 0z Jennie-O Turkey Ham (diced)
    1 Lb baby Carrots (shredded in processor)
    3 Lrg Onions (diced)
    5 tsp Olive Oil

Directions

makes 5 servings. Place everything EXCEPT olive oil in large pot. add water to cover all. Simmer until peas are cooked smooth. Add water as needed.

Add Olive oil at finish. The Olive Oil adds "good" fat and replaces the saturated fat that is not in the very lean Turkey Ham.
