Serve these tasty Salisbury steaks and mushroom gravy with mashed potatoes, rice or noodles.

Ingredients


    Salisbury Steak Ingredients
    * Ground beef, lean, 1lb
    * *Bread Crumbs 1/3 cup,
    * *0% Milk (Skim), 1/3 cup
    * *Egg White - One Large Egg White
    * *Onion - Raw, chopped, .25 cup
    * *Knorr Beef Bouillion Cubes, 2 serving
    * *Kitchen Bouquet Browning & Seasoning sauce (2 tsp),
    * Pepper, black, 1.5 tsp
    * *Pam Cooking Spray, 1 serving

    Mushroom Gravy Ingredients
    * *1 cup warm water, 2.5 serving
    * *Knorr Beef Bouillion Cubes, 2 serving
    * *Red Wine Vinegar, 2 tbsp
    * *COOKING - Cornstarch [1 Tbsp.], 2.5 serving
    * Thyme, ground, .5 tsp
    * Pepper, black, .25 tsp
    * Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices

Directions

Salisbury Steak
Combine all ingredients with hamburger; mix gently.
Shape into 6 oval patties, about 3/4-inch/2-cm thick.
Spray skillet with Cooking Spray. Heat over medium heat until hot. Add patties; cook 3 minutes per side or until browned. Remove patties from skillet; set aside. Drain skillet, if necessary.

Add Mushrooms to Skillet, cook until brown. remove from pan and set aside.

Mushroom Gravy
Combine all ingredients except mushrooms and patties, and pour into same skillet. Cook over low heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly. Stir in mushrooms. Return patties to skillet. Cover and simmer about 15 minutes or until thoroughly cooked through. Serve with mashed potatoes or over cooked noodles.
