1 c. chopped onions
2 Tsp olive oil
2 c. sliced mushrooms
3 tsp kirkland no salt seasoning
8 oz. whole grain linguine
1 Tsp unbleached flour
1 c. chicken broth
1 Tsp soy sauce
3 green onions, chopped
Saute the onions in the olive oil in a heavy nonreactive skillet or saucepan for 10 minutes or until translucent. Add the fresh mushrooms and the no salt seasoning. Continue to saute, stirring often. When the mushrooms begin to soften, stir in the flour and then the chicken broth and soy sauce. Simmer on medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until sauce thickens. Stir in green onions.
Serve drained pasta in warmed bowls topped with sauce, parmesan cheese and black pepper.
Parmesan is not included in the nutritional information.
