2 large red bell peppers slice in half lenghtwise
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs [use more if desired]
8 ounces Gimme Lean ground meat style and/or Gimme Lean sausage style
2 Tbs chopped onion
2 tsp McCormick Roasted garlic and Pepper seasoning
2 tsp chopped chives
1/4 cup Ketchup
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp Wizard Vegetarian Worchestershire Sauce or Worchestershire sauce if not Vegetarian.
Mix the Gimme Lean, bread crumbs, onion and other seasonings under optional if using. Feel free to adjust with favorite seasonings.
Put in oven and bake at 375 for 40 minutes.
Mix the sauce. If making for Vegetarian do not use regular Worchestershire sauce because it contains non-Vegetarian ingredients. Use Vegetarian Worchestershire sauce which can be found in Natural food stores and some grocery stores.
During last 15 minutes pour sauce on and continue to bake. Finish baking and serve hot.
The pepper should be cooked but still firm.
