4 large red peppers
1 large carrot
1 large onion
5 garlic cloves
2 large tomatoes
1/2 cup Tomato Sauce
Sage, ground, 1.5 tbsp
Oregano, ground, 1.5 tbsp
Basil, Sweet, Fresh, 2 tbsp
adobo goya, 2 tsp
1/2 pound Ground Beef (lean)
1/2 pound Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean,
Saute onions, garlic in large pan with olive oil
Add carrots and let cook for 5 minutes
Add chopped tomatoes and tomato sauce; mixed well
add ground beef and ground turkey and let cook covered for 15-20 minutes.
While meat is cooking, slice tomatoes in half and wash thoroughly. Spray the outsides with light cooking spray. Scoop mixture equally into each half . Bake on 400 for 45 minutes.
Serve with parmesean cheese crated on the top.
