Blueberry Smoothie

Introduction

Good for breakfast or a healthy vitamin-packed snack. You can also substitute blueberries for strawberries or any other frozen fruit. Good for breakfast or a healthy vitamin-packed snack. You can also substitute blueberries for strawberries or any other frozen fruit.
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 cup frozen blueberries
    1 banana, sliced
    1 small container (6 oz) lowfat yogurt, any flavor
    3/4 cup 1% milk

Directions

Combine all ingredients in blender on highest setting and blend until smooth. Add more or less milk depending on how thick you like your smoothie. Pour into 16 oz glass/cup or 2- 8 oz cups.

Makes 2- 8 oz servings.

    My nine year old son and I loved this! A disclaimer, though... if you are not a morning person, I highly recommend coffee before using a blender in the AM. I forgot to put the rubber seal in it and made a big mess. We added fresh strawberries and fresh blueberries that I had on hand. - 5/30/10
