Introduction

Ingredients

    Green Split Peas, 16oz bag
    Organic Quinoa (dry), 1 cup
    2-4 cups diced Honey Baked Ham,
    Carrots, raw, 2 cup, chopped
    Onions, raw, 2 cup, chopped
    4 celery ribs (keep leaves)
    4 Garlic cloves, minced
    6 cups Organic Chicken Broth Low Sodium,
    4-6 cups water (I used 4)
    2 bay leaves
    1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley

Directions

Layer ingredients in (XL) cooker in order given, adding broth last. Do not stir ingredients. Cover and cook on high 4-5 hours or low 8-10 hours until peas are very soft.

Serve with sour cream if desired.
