Stuffed French Toast

Introduction

Very filling and delicious. You may want to flavor the cream cheese with a little vanilla and sugar before spreading. This will probably be awesome with strawberry flavored cream cheese. Very filling and delicious. You may want to flavor the cream cheese with a little vanilla and sugar before spreading. This will probably be awesome with strawberry flavored cream cheese.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    8 slices oat nut bread
    strawberries
    1 banana
    8 tsp low fat cream cheese
    3 eggs
    1 egg white
    1 cup of milk
    1 tsp vanilla
    2 tsp sugar
    simple granola

Directions

Spread 1 tsp cream cheese on one side of each slice of bread. place strawberry slices and banana slices on 4 bread. Place other bread slice on top. Place in 9X13 glass pan.

Pour granola evenly on large plate. Mix together egg, egg white, vanilla, milk and sugar. Pour over bread. Turn bread over once and then place on plate with granola. Turn over to lightly coat each side and place on oiled or buttered skillet. Cook covered for 5 minutes on each side. Place on cookie sheet in oven (350 degrees) for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with confectionery sugar and serve with maple syrup.
