Pita Pizza - Cheese

Introduction

Simple and takes away any pizza craving. Doll it up with your favorite pizza toppings, just make sure you adjust the calories to accommodate them! Simple and takes away any pizza craving. Doll it up with your favorite pizza toppings, just make sure you adjust the calories to accommodate them!

Ingredients

    1 whole wheat pita (entire round)
    2 T pasta sauce (used Muir Glen Organic for nut info)
    1 dash Italian Seasoning
    1 t Kraft Reduced Fat Parmesan Cheese
    1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, low moisture/part skim

Directions

Preheat oven to 350' F.

On a cookie sheet, put your pita down. If any curves in the pita, make sure you face them upward so your sauce doesn't run off.

On top of the pita, put your sauce. Spread it around to cover the pita.

Add a dash of italian seasoning

Sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top of the pizza.

Add your mozzarella cheese to the pizza.

Cook for approximately 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Makes 1 serving = 1 pita pizza
