15 medium mushrooms, stems removed
1/2 cup garbanzo beans
1/3 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. tahini
1 tsp. lemon juice
Remove stems from mushrooms. Wipe any dirt off with a paper towel. Do not wash mushrooms with water as they will absorb the water and become mushy.
Place mushrooms, stem-side up, on a large plate. Put hummus into a ziploc baggie and cut one tiny corner off the end. Pipe the hummus into the center of the mushroom. Serve immediately.
Makes 15 mushrooms.
