Fruity Cottage Cheese Salad

Introduction

I don't like cottage cheese, but it's such a good source of protein for me (I don't eat much meat) -- I make this and love it! You could use light jell-o instead of regular to save more calories. Makes 6 1/2-cup servings.

You can put in whatever other fruit you like -- these are just my favourites!

Ingredients

    2 cups 1% cottage cheese
    1 cup Light Cool Whip, thawed
    1 pkg (4 servings) orange Jell-o
    1 cup mandarin oranges
    1 cup sliced bananas

Directions

Gently mix cottage cheese, thawed Cool Whip, and Jell-o powder together. Fold in mandarin oranges and banana. Serve chilled.
