Tomatoe Sauce

Introduction

Homemade tomatoe sauce low in sodium. Can use to top pasta, meatlofe, or anything you like. Homemade tomatoe sauce low in sodium. Can use to top pasta, meatlofe, or anything you like.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    Garlic, 7 clove
    Cilantro, raw, 8 tbsp
    Pepper, black, 3 tsp
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 15 medium whole (2-3/5" dia)
    1/2- 1 Cup Water (or more depending on perfered thickness)

Directions

Cut stim from tomatoes and remove seeds.
Boil tomatoes until skin starts to pill off ( 10-15 min).
Remove skin
Mash tomatoes with a fork or blender.
Chop garlic and cilantro.
Add tomatoes, water, garlic, cilantro, and black pepper.
Add any additional herbs or seasoning to your liking.
Simmer for 1 1/2 to hours.
