Ingredients

    1 cup dry black beans
    1 cup brown rice
    1/4 cup chili powder
    1 16 oz smoked sausage
    8 or more cups water

Directions

cook dry black in about half water till water boils then take off heart and let soak for about an hour.... add rest of water and brown rice bring to bowl and then turn to low heat and let simmer on low for about 40 mins... adding more water if needed... last 5 mins add the smoked sausage to heat and searve.
