1 1/3 cups water, room temperature
3/4 cup oats
2 Tbl. butter, cut into small pieces
3 Tbl. honey
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
1 3/4 cups bread flour
2 Tbl. vital wheat gluten
2 tsp active dry yeast
Place all ingredients in bread machine in order listed or according to your machine instructions. If using the Delayed Start, place oats in with flour to keep away from water. This makes a great breakfast bread. May use maple syrup in place of honey.
To get 20 servings per loaf, I cut 10 thicker slices, then cut each in half. I do this because I don't slice "thin" very well and each half is a good serving.
