Turtle Sunday Cake

Ingredients

    1 box chocolate cake mix
    1/2 cup chopped pecans
    1/2 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 cup sweetened coconut
    2 tsp milk
    24 caramels, unwrapped
    24 Hershey hugs, unwrapped
    16 oz vanilla frosting

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Follow package directions to make cake mix. Add pecans, mini chips, and coconut. Pour into greased 15 1/2-inch-by-10 1/2 inch-by-1 inch baking pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Put caramels and milk in microwave save bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and microwave for 15 more seconds at a time until caramel is melted and smooth. Spread frosting over cake, drizzle with caramel and cut cake into 24 pieces. Place one hug in the middle of each piece of cake. Keep refrigerated.
