    3 Tbsp trans-fat free margarine

    1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
    3 Tbsp red pepper flakes
    Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Rinse shrimp under cold water and pat dry well with a paper towel. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat margarine and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until melted and bubbling, 1-2 minutes. Add shrimp and stir to coat with margarine mixture.
Add lemon juice, parsley, and red pepper flaks; cook, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are pink, about 2 minutes. Do not overcook or the shrimp will be tough. Remove from heat, season with salt and pepper, and serve hot.

  • Wow!! That was delicious but seriously HOT!!!! I'd cut the garlic to 2-3 cloves (of course, mine might have been larger than usual but 4 was way too much- even for garlic lovers) and the red pepper flakes to 1/2 tsp, like Jenncandi said. But, all in all, it was wonderful! - 7/23/12

  • I'm pretty sure there is a mistake with the 3 Tbsp. of red pepper flakes. I put in 1/2 tsp and it was pretty spicy. Also, parsley is not in the ingredient list, but it tells you to add it during the recipe. Luckily I had some in my fridge. - 4/26/12
