1 can Chick Peas (Garbonzo Beans) roughly 12 oz, drained
4 cloves garlic, peeled
1-2 TBSP Fresh Lemon juice, or to taste
3 TBSP Olive Oil
2 TBSP Tahini
4 pieces Sun Dried Tomato (stored in olive oil), drained of fluid
5 Sprigs/leaves Basil
(lemon zest from one lemon- optional)
Add all of the ingredients to your food processor and blend until smooth. If humus seems to thick, add small amount of tap water (1-2 TBSP) and blend until desired consistency is reached.
Serve immediately with pita bread, vegetables or crackers or refrigerate to store.
