Introduction

Lower fat and cals with egg whites. Can sub Splenda for sugar to lower cals even more. Try subbing applesauce for oil! Lower fat and cals with egg whites. Can sub Splenda for sugar to lower cals even more. Try subbing applesauce for oil!

Ingredients

    3 egg whites
    1 cup skim milk
    3 T canola oil
    1.5 c. self rising flour
    2 T sugar (or splenda to reduce cals)

Directions

In med bowl beat egg whites, milk and oil until frothy. Add flourr and sugar; blend until large lumps are gone. Let rest 5 minutes and heat waffle iron.

I used a Cuisinart classic iron at 3.5 setting. Made 5 waffles using 1/2 cup batter.
