Cheerios Trail Mix Bars

Submitted by: WMKING

Introduction

Adapted from Eatbetteramerica.com A healthier alternative to the store brands. Sugar content is a little high in this; I will play with it to see if I can reduce and maintain same chewy texture. The original recipe called for corn syrup; I subbed honey and agave, which probably upped the sweetness factor a little bit as well. Next time I will reduce the brown sugar.
