Ingrid's Lighter Banana Bread

Introduction

I received this recipe from a friend. I like this recipe because while it's a lighter version, it still very moist.
Some make this with chocolate chips...but make sure to adjust the calories, fat, etc. if you do this.

Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1 1/3 C White flour
    2/3 C Whole wheat flour
    1/2 t Salt
    1 C Sugar
    1/4 C Butter (unsalted)
    2 Eggs
    1 1/2 C Mashed Bananas
    1/3 C Yogurt
    1 t Vanilla Extract

Directions

Combine Flours with baking soda and salt.

Cream sugar and butter.
Combine eggs, mashed bananas, yogurt and vanilla. Add banana mixture to egg mixture; stir until combined.

Take wet mixture and add flour, fold together gently until combined. Pour into lightly oiled 9 inch square pan.

Bake 350 degrees on middle oven rack for approximately 1 hour. ( Check bread for doneness at 50 minutes. )
