Nana's Pancakes

Introduction

Light and fluffy. This receipe came with a blender 40 years ago and I haven't found a receipe to beat it. Always perfect. Light and fluffy. This receipe came with a blender 40 years ago and I haven't found a receipe to beat it. Always perfect.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 cup self rising flour
    1 cup buttermilk
    3 tablespoons canola oil
    1 large egg

Directions

Mix ingredients your favorite way. I prefer oversized measuring cup for easy pouring. If too thick add a little more buttermilk. Heat griddle till water dances on surface. Pour batter on hot griddle and cook till the bubbles burst. Turn over and lightly brown. Butter with melted butter or soft margerine. Serve and enjoy. Makes 4 servings approx. 6 4-5 inch pancakes per stack.
