Chocolate Stuff

Introduction

Sweet Potato Queen goes wild! Sweet Potato Queen goes wild!
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    2 eggs
    1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup flour
    1 tsp salt
    1 stick butter
    2 Tbl (heaping) Hershey's cocoa (Special Dark if avail)
    1 tsp (generous) vanilla

Directions

Beat eggs with sugar and flour
Add salt
Microwave melt butter and cocoa together
Dump butter mix into egg mixture & stir really well
Add the vanilla
Pour into greased loaf pan & set in another pan of water
Bake at 300 for 40-50 min (may take longer)
At 40 min tap the top of it.
If it is crunchy, go ahead and take it out
Grab a spoon and dig in (with restraint of course!)
16 servings @ 127cal each

  • We make this all the time :) But, I must take issue with the 16 servings - it is more like 6 - 8 at our house and that is with LOTS of restraint. It is really good served with real whipped cream too - but of course, that is more calories/fat! - 6/9/10
