One Skillet Ground Turkey and Orzo

Introduction

Makes 8- 9 1/3 ounce servings. Or 6- 12 1/3 oz servings. Makes 8- 9 1/3 ounce servings. Or 6- 12 1/3 oz servings.

Ingredients

    1 T olive oil
    1 lb. Ground Turkey (93% used in calc)
    1 cup chopped onion
    1/2 C Green (Bell) pepper
    6 oz Orzo Pasta (uncooked)
    1 14.5 oz can Diced Tomatoes (approx 2 C)
    2 cup beef broth
    1 cup tomato sauce
    2 cup Red Kidney Beans
    2 T French's Worcestershire Sauce
    salt and pepper to taste
    Garlic Powder to taste

Directions

Heat oil in pan. Add turkey, onion and peppers and saute until browned and vegetables are tender. Add Worcestershire sauce, and spices. Stir and bring back to simmer. Add broth, tomatoes, tomato sauce, beans and orzo pasta. Bring back to boil. Cover and reduce heat to simmer. Allow to simmer for 18 minutes, or until pasta is done.
