Introduction

Make this once, store in single-serve containers, and eat it for breakfast all week. Sprinkle the ground flaxseed daily. Make this once, store in single-serve containers, and eat it for breakfast all week. Sprinkle the ground flaxseed daily.

Ingredients

    1 C Oats
    1 C unsweetened soy milk
    1 C water
    2 C frozen raspberries, thawed
    2 bananas, chopped
    2 medium apples, chopped
    8 dates, pitted and chopped
    1/4 C whole almonds
    6 Tbsp ground flaxseed

Directions

Bring soy milk and water to a boil, and add oats. Cover and cook for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, chop the fruits. Add them to the oatmeal at 15 minutes, and cook (covered) for another 5-10 minutes until done.

Add almonds, stirring everything thoroughly to combine.

Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed on each serving.

Makes 6 servings.
