Frozen Banana with peanut butter

Submitted by: BMARCATO

Introduction

I got this recipe from the Bonnie Hunt Show - it's so easy and delicious sweet treat I got this recipe from the Bonnie Hunt Show - it's so easy and delicious sweet treat
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 large banana
2 tbsp organic smooth peanut butter (nature's promise)

Directions

Peel banana and slice in half the long way. Spread peanutbutter along the cut side of banana and fit the other half right on top (like a sandwich). Wrap in plastic wrap and put in freezer. When frozen (after a few hours) slice into 8 "candies". Each serving is for 4 pieces (half the banana)
I also drained some of the natural oil that collects at the top of the peanut butter prior to using to cut down on some fat and calories - unfortunately I don't know exactly how many it cuts back on but every little bit helps :)
