French Toast

Introduction

I use Bisquick to keep the egg from socking into the bread - I don't like soggy bread! I use Bisquick to keep the egg from socking into the bread - I don't like soggy bread!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1/2 cup egg substitute
    1/3 cup Bisquick (I used Heart Smart)
    3/4 cup skim milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    8 slices of Pepperidge Farm Soft Whole Grain White Bread

Directions

Combine the egg sub, bisquick, milk and vanilla in a bowl large enough for slices of bread to be dipped in. Dunk bread slices into mixture and then place on griddle sprayed with cooking spray. Cook until lightly browned on each side.
Serves 4 people - 2 slices each.
