IntroductionOne of my favorite meals my grandma made. My kids love this. Not a "diet" food, but it's pretty yummy. One of my favorite meals my grandma made. My kids love this. Not a "diet" food, but it's pretty yummy.
1 1/3 lb ground turkey
1 large onion, chopped
16 ounce package of noodles
3 cloves garlic, chopped
2 14.5 ounces of canned, chopped tomatoes
2 8 oz cans of tomato sauce
basil, italian seasonings, oregano to taste.
When egg & meat is blended, put it in a soup pot with the onion. Brown on medium heat, until meat is well cooked, and onions are clear. Keep breaking up the meat in chunks, while stirring.
Add the remaining ingredients. Add enough water to cover the noodles completely.
Cook for about 15 minutes, or until the noodles are done and it is not "too soupy".
