Old-Fangled Fruit Loaves

Ingredients

Cake:
2 cups sugar
1 cup melted butter
4 cups flour
4 teaspoons soda
4 teaspoons cinnamon 2 teaspoons nutmeg
3/4 teaspoon cloves
1 quart of old canned fruit
1 cup chocolate chips
Cream Cheese Frosting:
1/2 cup softened margarine
4 cups powdered sugar
Few drops of hot water 1 3-oz. pkg. cream cheese (softened)
1 teaspoons vanilla
Directions
Use your old home canned fruit. Mix in blender (with juice) until smooth. Combine and mix sugar and melted butter, stir in sifted dry ingredients and add fruit. Add chocolate chips and mix well. Pour into 6 small loaf pans that have been greased and floured. Bake at 350 degrees for about one hour or until they test done. Let cool in pans 10 minutes. Frost with cream cheese frosting. Makes 48 servings.
