OMAC Oriental Chicken

Introduction

another freezer meal..... subbing the "chow mein noodles" for brown rice the night I prepare it for dinner.... another freezer meal..... subbing the "chow mein noodles" for brown rice the night I prepare it for dinner....
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 T butter
    2T Flour
    1 cup 99% fat free chicken broth (I will use homemade)
    1 cup water
    1 T soy sauce
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    2 C cooked diced chicken (I put 1 lb in nutrition values)
    1/8t pepper

Directions

Melt margarine in a medium sauce pan over low heat. Add flour, and coninue to stir over medium heat until bubbly. Add broth, water, soy sauce, garlic powder, cicken and pepper; simmer for 5 min. Cool and freeze in a 1 gallon bag.

To prepare for serving, thaw chicken. Heat in pan until bubbly. Serve over brown rice. Makes 4 servings
