Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Introduction

Not exactly low calorie.... these are the real deal! They aren't too bad for you if you only eat one or two. They are my family's favourite cookies. Not exactly low calorie.... these are the real deal! They aren't too bad for you if you only eat one or two. They are my family's favourite cookies.
Number of Servings: 36

Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups plain flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 Tbsp cinnamon
    1/2 cup butter
    1 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    2 large eggs
    2 tsp vanilla
    1 1/2 cup oats
    2 cup raisins

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F or 180C. Sift together flour, baking powder and cinnamon. Mix together butter and sugars until creamy, then add eggs and vanilla. Then mix the dry ingredients in with the creamed butter and sugars and fold in the raisins. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto non-stick baking sheets. Bake for 12-18 minutes, depending on your oven, until slightly brown. Makes 36 cookies. Remember to share!
