Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts (per 2 pieces)

Introduction
This recipe is always a hit, and very easy to make. This recipe is always a hit, and very easy to make.Number of Servings: 12
Ingredients

12 strips of bacon
24 whole water chestnuts
Diana’s Gourmet Rib & Chicken BBQ sauce
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Line a cookie sheet with foil for easy clean up! Place a rack on top of cookie sheet so that the grease can drip off of them.
3. Cut bacon in half. Wrap each water chestnut with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Put on rack on cookie sheet.
4. Bake on middle rack of 350° oven for 30 – 45 minutes. They are done when the bacon is the crispness that you like it.
They can be frozen at this point after you have let them cool.
5. If you are serving immediately, transfer the pieces to a glass baking dish and brush each piece with Diana’s BBQ sauce. Put back in the oven for another 15 minutes.
