A great 30-calorie sweet treat!
A great 30-calorie sweet treat!
Number of Servings: 11
Ingredients
Vanilla extract, imitation, alcohol, 0.5 tsp Splenda, 1tbsp Cream Cheese, Publix Fat Free, 5 tbsp Hershey's Cocoa, Special Dark, .5-1 tbsp Great Value Light Whipped Topping, 16 tbsp (1 cup) Chocolate Chips, Publix Mini Semisweet, 1 tbsp
Directions
Mix coolwhip, cream cheese, vanilla, and splenda (using mixer, blender, or bowl and fork).
For chocolate cheesecake bites, add cocoa and stir in thorougly (to create swirl cheesecakes, divide batter in half and add the cocoa to half the batter - mix thoroughly, then recombine batter, swirling chocolate batter into plain batter).
Spoon into 10-15 slots of an ice cube tray.
Top each bite with 5-10 mini chocolate chips, one teaspoon sugar free chocolate syrup, or smucker's sugar free fruit preserves (rasberry, strawberry, blueberry, etc - 3 calories per teaspoon).
Freeze for 2 hrs. After fully freezing, they should pop right out, or you might need to run water over the bottom of the tray to help them come out.
i made these earlier today cos i was having a sweet craving...these are ymmy....but i think putting them in individual mini muffin cups works best...

Oh YEAH! let the rest of the family have 300 calories for a piece of cheesecake. Will definately make this regularly. It was quick ,easy and delicious. very satisfied after only eating two.

Oh my you have my mouth watering with this one. It sounds fantastic and such a treat for us. I will make them. I have never heard of publix chips but I assume its a brand name and I can get other brands so that I will do. thanks so much for sharing this one with us.

The taste was incredible! however, freezing them in an ice cube tray didn't seem very easy to me - they didn't come out easily. Once they were out, I put them in the fridge. After they thawed the consistency was too soft to be a "bite" - it had to be eaten with a spoon.

Yummy. I've made it 3 times...the last two i just put the mixture in a glass pie plate and froze it like a cake because it was just TOO much of a pain to get the little ice cubes out. My hubby and I just split it in half and it's still only like 105 calories! (pre choc chips)

SOOO yummy!!!!!!!!!!!! The little chocolate chips are the BEST with it! You have to be careful, or after you make them you lick the bowl and spoon! The fiance even said they just "burst" with flavor! Wait until they thaw a little so they are nice and creamy! :) Thank you!

This recipe was quite good. The spooning thing was a challenge for paper cups. I think next time I will using a decorating tube so I can use this recipe for parties. Very good recipe! Thanks!

I love cheescake and these give me just enough of a taste without feeling guily for indulging my pleasure. I left out the cocoa and use 1Tbsp Weight Watchers Raspberry jam. totally yummy

So simple and easy to make. I had to double the recipe to fill 14 ice cube trays though. Had no trouble getting them out. The ladies I served them to loved them as well! Thanks!

These were fantastic and we even forgot to add the chocolate chips! This is going to be a freezer constant! Tasted just like a nice chilled chocolate cheesecake. We didn't have any trouble getting them out of the ice tray with a table knife run round the edges. They popped right out.

I really look forward to trying these. As my evil lil sweet tooth tends to sit on my shoulder every now and then, poking me with his little sugar fork!! <3

Hi ARINDANA, I live in Saskatchewan and I just bought Philadelphia 95% fat free cream cheese at the Yorkton Superstore yesterday, it's the soft spreadable kind in a little tub. Hope this helps!

I wish we could buy fat free cream cheese in Canada. At least, I've never seen it! But I'm going to still try the recipe. In fact, I have cream cheese nearing the expiry date and I even have dark chocolate!

I wonder if the same portion size can be obtained by using the mini muffin liners and a mini muffin tray instead of using the ice tray? This does sound tasty and I will have to give it a try. Thanks

My mom and I were discussing cheesecake recently, but knew there were just too many calories. We will definitely have to try this. Thanks for posting!!!
