Introduction

Yummy quinoa breakfast bars...high protein, high fiber, kids love them! Yummy quinoa breakfast bars...high protein, high fiber, kids love them!

Ingredients

    Wet Ingredients
    2/3 c. Unsweetened Applesauce
    4 eggs
    2 Tbsp. Dark Molasses
    4 Tbsp. Orange Marmalade
    - wisk together

    Dry Ingredients
    Chop 18-20 Dried Calimyrna Figs into small pieces
    1.5 c. Quinoa Flakes
    1/2 c. Brown Rice Flour
    1 c. Soy Flour
    1 tsp Xanthan Gum
    2 tsp Baking Powder
    1 tsp Salt
    1/2 c. Sugar
    1/2 c. Chopped Walnuts/Pecans

Directions

Wisk wet ingedients together in separate bowl.
Mix dry ingedients together in separate bowl.

Add wet and dry ingredients together, mix well.
Bake in 8x8 pan with parchment paper. (Alternative: fill 24 small cupcake papers 1/2 full for "grab and go" bites)
375 degrees, 18 minutes

Cool completely. Cut into small squares if not using cupcake method.
