Creamy Lowfat Bean Dip

Introduction

Quick, easy, low fat and low calorie. (Only 58 calories and 2 fat grams in a generous 1/4 c. serving!) Equally good for dipping vegies or chips. Quick, easy, low fat and low calorie. (Only 58 calories and 2 fat grams in a generous 1/4 c. serving!) Equally good for dipping vegies or chips.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Equal quantities of:
    Refried Beans, fat free
    Light Cream Cheese
    Fat Free Sour Cream
    Chunky Salsa
    (I used 1/4 cup of each)

Directions

Place beans and cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl and heat for about 30-45 seconds to soften. (Cover as a precaution against exploding beans!) Stir in sour cream and salsa. Serve with vegies &/or chips for dipping.

Serving size: 1/4 cup

You could reduce the fat/calorie count further by using fat free cream cheese. (I'm not a fan of the aftertaste/texture of fat free cream cheese, but that's a matter of personal taste.)
