Chicken noodle broocoli dinner

Submitted by: JENNYWREN93

Introduction

this is something I took off a can of cream soup years ago. You could make it lower calorie/fat if you want to, this is just how I made it tonight! *Edited to use my cream of soup recipe (3 recipes)- note the lowered calories (245!) this is something I took off a can of cream soup years ago. Ingredients

6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (I used teriaki flavor, but you can use plain- same calories)
5 cups frozen broccoli (or fresh), chopped
3 cream of soup recipes *see my recipes
    1 can water
5 cups dry egg noodles (10 cups cooked?)
    1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
    salt/pepper to taste
    italian seasoning to taste
    splash of sage

Directions

take chicken and grill it on your george foreman or hamilton beach countertop grill (or outside if you want!). cook noodles and broccoli in boiling, salted water. Drain. When chicken is fully cooked (was done before noodles, due to time to get water boiling), cut into bitesize pieces. Add chicken, soup, water, cheese, salt, pepper, any other fav seasonings (tarragon or basil would be great too- waiting for those to come in from Penzey's) to the noodles/broccoli. Mix well in noodle pan, return to heat until everything is heated through!

Easy, and easy to clean up too! even my kids liked it!

Makes 8 2-cup servings.
