Shitake Mushroom sauce for pasta

Introduction

I adapted this from a Cooks.com recipe. Theirs had 2 cups of cream in addition to all the rest of the fat. So the amounts of the ingredients are very much adjustable. Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    7 ounce jar sundried tomatoes in olive oil, sliced
    5 ounce package shitake mushrooms, sliced
    3 cloves garlic, put through press
    1 T basil
    2 T butter

Directions

Saute the mushrooms in butter. Add the rest of the ingredients, including the oil from the tomatoes and heat through. Serve over pasta or as a garnish for fish. Could stretch it so 6 servings if serving as a side dish of pasta.
