Introduction

This is a delicious pasta dish that is light on the calories and that can be prepared with or without meat depending on your preference. I have made it both ways and it is delicious either way! The taco seasoning adds a spicy kick to the dish and can be made with or without the seasoning. I have also done that both ways and it tastes good either way. Ingredients

    9 Lasagna Noodle strips
    1 Jar of Pasta Sauce
    1 Container of Reduced Fat Feta Cheese
    1/4 cup Shredded Cheese made with 2% Milk (or your preference)
    8 oz of 90% Lean, 10% Fat Ground Meat (or your preference)
    1 Packet of Old El Paso Taco Seasoning

Directions

Makes 6 servings in a pan. Set the oven to 350 F before beginning.

First, get a pot of water boiling and prepare the lasagna noodles as the package suggests. While the noodles are boiling put 8 oz of the ground meat in a skillet and brown it. Once the ground meat is browned mix in the taco seasoning according to the packet instructions.

Once the meat is seasoned take a large bowl and mix the container of feta cheese, 2.5 cups of pasta sauce (may need more), and the taco meat all together.

Take the boiled lasagna noodles and cut them to fit in the pan. Cover the bottom of the pan with a layer of noodles and pour half of the mixture over it, then put another layer of noodles down and pour the other half of the mixture over it. Cover once more with the last of the cut noodles and sprinkle the 1/4 cup of shredded cheese on top.

Put the lasagna in the oven and cook for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
