Taco Pizza Bites

Introduction

Modified this recipe from a few years ago that I got from someone else. Modified this recipe from a few years ago that I got from someone else.
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    1 lb. ground beef, 8% fat
    2 cans Pillsbury Reduced Fat Crescent Rolls
    1 cup chopped green pepper
    1 cup chopped onion
    3 garlic cloves
    1 - 6 ounce can tomato paste
    1 cup water
    1 teaspoon chili powder
    2 teaspoons ground cumin
    8 oz. Kraft 2% mild cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Saute beef, onions, garlic, and pepper until beef is browned. Mix tomato paste and water in a small bowl and add the spices. While the meat is cooking, spread the crescent rolls out onto an 11 x 14 baking sheet. Be sure to seal seams. Prick the tops randomly with a fork to release air bubbles. Bake 6-8 minutes. Spread meat mixture over rolls and bake 10 minutes. Sprinkle the cheese on top and bake 5 more minutes. Cut into 24 squares. One square per serving.
