Hash Brown Breakfast Bake

Introduction

I adapted this from a old favorite cookbook replacing the original sausage, regular milk, and cheese with lowfat versions. I adapted this from a old favorite cookbook replacing the original sausage, regular milk, and cheese with lowfat versions.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1/2 of 2 lb frozen hash brown potatoes (about 4 1/2 cups)
    5 eggs
    1 cup skim milk]
    1 Tb. cornstarch
    1/2 lb. Light Velveeta cheese, cubed
    3 slices turkey ham diced (4 oz.)
    2 tsp Worcestshire sauce
    salt and pepper

Directions

Spread hash browns in bottom of greased 9 X 13 baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper if desired. Beat eggs, milk, cornstarch, and worchestshire sauce. Pour over potatoes. Put cheese cubes and diced ham over top. Bake in 350 degree oven 35-40 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned and eggs are set. Makes 12-15 servings depending on how cut. Calories are based on 12 servings.
