This is a hearty soup that is perfect on cold nights. This is a hearty soup that is perfect on cold nights.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    * 2 chicken breasts, cooked and diced into bite-sized pieces
    * 1/2 cup mini pasta shells, cooked and drained
    * 1 1/3 cups low sodium chicken broth
    * 1 1/3 cups tomato juice
    * 1 tsp basil
    * 1/3 tsp salt
    * 1/8 tsp oregano
    * Dash of pepper
    * 1 small carrot, diced
    * 1 small stalk celery, diced
    * 3 Tbsp chopped onion
    * 1 clove garlic
    * 1 cup petite diced tomatoes

Directions

This is a recipe for your slow cooker, you can throw it together before you head out and come home to a delicious dinner.

Prepare the chicken and the pasta, then put aside in your refrigerator. This will be added at the end of the cooking time.

Combine all remaining ingredients into your slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 7-8 hours or until veggies are tender. Add the chicken and pasta in the last 15 minutes of cooking time.
