Tammy's Hamburger & Cabbage Soup

Introduction

I had veggies and hamburger and needed something for dinner. I looked in a cookbook for a cabbage soup recipe and decided that hamburger might be good and hoped it turned out edible. Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground beef, 1/2 head cabbage ( medium), 1 medium onion, 3 carrots cubed bite size, 2 stalks celery, 1/3 cup barley, 3 bullion cubes-beef, 1 tsp minced garlic, 1 tsp Oregano, 3 small bay leafs, 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce, 4-6 cups water ( I used 4 cups because I don't like alot of broth),

Directions

Brown ground beef, add everything else, stir, cook for 45 minutes on medium heat.

Makes 8 1-cup servings.
