Dukan Diet Turkey Burger

Introduction
Home made turkey burger, can be served between two large flat mushrooms (as shown in picture) or serve with veg of choice. Home made turkey burger, can be served between two large flat mushrooms (as shown in picture) or serve with veg of choice.Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients

500g Lean minced beef or turkey mince
3 tbsp Oatbran
1-2 egg whites
1 stock cube
crushed chilli (if you want it spicy)
You can add other herbs and/or spices as you want..
Directions
Makes six (6) burgers
1. Put mince into a bowl and stir in the crushed stock cube and oatbran
2. Add the egg whites and mix together until all the egg has been absorbed (it should form into a compact mixture, not too sticky, if it is too sticky mix in a sprinkle of oatbran)
3. Then mix in the spices/herbs (add whatever spices you like to the mix.)
4. Take lumps of the mixture and with your hands make into 6 patties and grill on a medium heat for 10-20 minutes turning in between.

Something I had to look up: 500g is just slightly more than a pound. I used ground turkey, added 1 egg white, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, chicken seasoning, and quite a bit more oat bran b/c my turkey was very moist. Grilled and ate w/o the mushrooms.......it was delicious! Thanks. - 5/17/11
