Yummy Tropical Smoothie

Introduction

vitamin packed, low fat, and delicious! vitamin packed, low fat, and delicious!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    8 oz Minute Maid orange juice with calcium
    6 oz container Dannon non-fat plain yogurt
    1 small banana
    1 cup tropical frozen fruit mix (I use the Wawona brand Festival Mix with papaya,mango, pineapple, and strawberry)

Directions

carefully measure all ingredients. Toss them all into a blender. Blend until smooth, about 2 minutes. This recipe can be shared to make 2 servings, just cut nutritional values in half.

*I keep bananas that are a little too ripe in the freezer for smoothies.

the combinations are limitless if you follow the basic formula:
1c. juice
6 oz container fat free plain yogurt
1 c frozen fruit

add different things to change it up:
banana
walnuts
flax seed
fiber rich cereal
substitue soy products for dairy
