Maple Sausage Breakfast Casserole

Adapted from Taste of Home Cooking School

I always use Pet Milk with eggs. This dish is much more "healthy diet friendly" if you change the milk.

Can be prepared the nijght before and baked in the morning.

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 pkg Maple Flavor Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage
    10 eggs, beaten
    3 cups milk (I use Pet milk)
    1 tea vanilla
    2 cups apples, peeled and chopped
    2 tbl sugar
    6 cups cubed bread
    8 ounces shredded mild chedder cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 325.
Butter 13 X 9 baking dish.
Cook sausage until brown and drain.
In large bowl combine eggs with milk and vanilla.
Stir sugar and cinnamon into apples.

Layer 1/2 ingredients:
Cubed bread
Sausage
Apples
Cheese

Repeat layers

Pour egg mixture evenly over the casserole ingredients and bake 55-60 minutes. Serves 10-12
