Whole Wheat Flax Pancakes

Introduction

Ingredients

    1 c. Whole Wheat Flour
    1 tsp. Baking Powder
    2 tbsp. Ground Flaxseed Meal
    Dash salt
    1 c. Nonfat Milk
    1 Egg, beaten
    1 tbsp. Canola Oil
    Water as needed
    Cooking spray as needed

Directions

Mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Add milk, egg and oil and mix until well blended. Add water as necessary until mixture is to desired consistency.

Heat griddle or a large frypan until very hot and use cooking spray as necessary to keep pancakes from sticking. Cook on one side until pancake is firm enough to be flipped onto other side. Makes 8 4-inch pancakes.
