Introduction

My grandpa used to make what he called "garbage soup" all the time. He basically just threw in whatever was in the refrigerator with whatever meat he had on hand. • I do something similar with our leftovers. Instead of putting little bits of leftover food in the fridge or thowing it out, I keep a plastic freezer container in the freezer and add the remnants to it. When the container is full, I defrost the contents and put it in a soup pot with water and spices. - 9/21/10
