Strawberry Pie

Introduction

An open top Strawberry pie that is very tasty but surprisingly light An open top Strawberry pie that is very tasty but surprisingly light
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 TBSP Cornstarch (28 G)
    3/4 Cup Sugar
    1 Cup Water
    2 lbs Strawberries
    1 Box Strawberry Jello (4 oz box)

Directions

Makes 8 slices

Mix Cornstarch and Sugar in Pan on stove
Slowly Add Water while stirring
Add 1/2 strawberries
cook on Medium heat until thickened
Remove from heat and add Jello.
Cool bowl well in sink in ice water
add remaining berries to mixture and pour into cooled and pre cooked pie crust
refrigerate until completely cool
