Ingredients

    egg white, fresh, 8 large
    Egg Yolk, 5 large
    Granulated Sugar, 1.5 cup
    Water, tap, 1 oz
    *Almond Extract, .5 tsp
    Vanilla Extract, .5 tsp
    *Lemon Extract, .5 tsp
    *Whole Wheat Flour, 1 cup
    Cream Of Tartar, 0.5 tsp
    *salt, table, 0.5 tsp

Directions

Beat egg yolks on high speed for 5 minutes or until thick and yellow. Gradually beat in 1/2 cup sugar. Add water and all 3 extracts. Sift flour, add to the yolk mixture and mix.

Beat egg whites, cream of tartar and salt until soft peaks. Add sugar a little at a time while beating and beat until stiff peaks. Fold egg white mixture into batter and mix lightly until blended. pour into oil and floured cake pan and bake at 325 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until cake springs back when touched.
