Fruity Oatmeal

Introduction

An easy oatmeal full of yummy nuts and fruits. It is based on a recipe in Eat to Live. I changed the milk from soy to almond, and took out the sunflower seeds and added the flaxseed. Ingredients

    1/2 cup oats
    1-2 tbsp flaxseed
    1 banana sliced
    frozen blueberries
    other frozen fruite (i use strawberries)
    palm full of raw nuts (i enjoy walnuts or pecans)
    1/8 cup of almond or soy milk
    1/8 cup of blueberry, pomegranate, or mix of both juice

Directions

makes 1 2-cup serving
put all ingredients except for nuts in a microwave bowl and microwave for 2 minutes, adding a minute at a time extra if necessary. add nuts at end. mix and enjoy.
